Updated Circle Pattern

I haven't had to much motivation lately in terms of designing. I'm sure a lot of that has to do with the stress of worrying about whether or not I'll have enough money for rent/bills and such, but hopefully I can find a day to dedicate as "Art Day" and do nothing but create designs and patterns, drink lots of delicious bubble tea, and watch mindless movies that I love like crazy.

Circles Circles Everywhere

Lately I've found myself playing around with circle designs. I'm sure this collection will continue to grow.

Villa La Cookie update...

Here are a few selected illustrations from my book When You're Scared of the DARK...

This is the cover =]

This is Galabbo's neighborhood, and as you can see, there is one house that isn't quite ready to sleep.

This is Galabbo, and he is scared of the dark, so naturally, he doesn't want to go to bed...even though it's bedtime in Villa La Cookie.

"Monster" hiding behind the door...

"Monster" hiding inside the bedside table...

"Monster" hiding inside a dresser drawer...

Abstrak and Chompa, Galabbo's friends. They like to build sand empires. =]

Monka and Rubu, Galabbo's friends. They like to fly in space.

Treesie and Wondur, more of Galabbo's friends. They like to roller-skate on clouds.

In total, I have 30 illustrations for my book on bedtime in the Villa, but alas, these images should be enough to suffice you all with =]

Hooray for blogs

I have finally given in to the demands of creating a blog. Exciting.....I know!

Week one of my last semester at MCAD is done. I'm extremely excited for my senior project--it involves books, and monsters, and coloring, and bedtime, and kids--all things that I love.

This is just a single sample of what will be included in this semester-long project.
The little guy on the left is Abstrak, and his friend Galabbo is on the right.
